ICYLS (International Club of Young Laparoscopic Surgeons) is a collegial group created in the summer of 2002, when fellows from Europe, Asia, and the Americas met with Professor Gagner's team, at the Mount Sinai Minimally Invasive Surgery Center (New York, USA).
The aim of ICYLS is to connect young surgeons who are interested in laparoscopic procedures, all around the world.
For this ambitious goal, ICYLS organizes once a year an international meeting where young surgeons can gather in an informal atmosphere with experienced laparoscopic surgeons, share their experience, and show their motivation to improve their skills and knowledge.
