The OESO CME Task Force

Continuing its course of regular expansion, and fulfilling its role in CME,
made official by the Resolution approved by UNESCO at the general Conference of 199
and put into effect by the UNESCO Chair for Distance Learning,
OESO, and the OESO Foundation representing its arm for CME, have created a new structure,
Working in close cooperation with the members of the Executive Board, the Scientific Direction, the Permanent Scientific Committee of OESO, and the Executive Committee of the OESO Foundation,
The OESO CME Task Force strive to develop on a worldwide scale the dissemination of knowledge and the sharing of information in line with one of the essential missions of UNESCO.

INTENTION |

|
 |
To represent the original, multi-disciplinary component of the OESO Foundation, to ensure the rigor of its approach and its credibility by the control of its scientific value
and the regular maintenance of its excellence.
|
 |
To ensure that the OESO network, with the program of the UNESCO Chair for distance learning, provides innovative means of structuring healthcare at the local, national,
and international levels, by the implementation of an operational program capable of challenging the traditional practices. |

The courses take into consideration the variable technical capacities of the connected sites, as well as the time differences existing with the areas of reception.

True multi-disciplinarity, following the original approach of OESO since its creation.

Sections of the program to French speaking audiences.

Possible choice between two different levels of competence: |

- Current practice
- Specialized practice
|
 |
Courses proposed in two formats, according to the subject and speakers preference, |
|
- Presentation of still images (powerpoint) with or without the webcam inset of the speaker.
- Video sequences with relevant commentaries.
|
 |
Courses transmitted by two means, |
|
- From one, single site, in the form of a traditional lecture,
- From multiple sites, in the form of a discussion among several specialists on an anonymous clinical case selected for its educational interest.

Courses accessible in two ways, |
|
- In real time, allowing for audience interaction with the teaching team.
- Pre-recorded, using a video available in the "OESO Knowledge Interactive Information System" of the OESO Foundation.
